Third Corporate R&D Center… Accelerating R&D-Driven Growth Strategy
HCG Strengthens AI-Powered HR Capabilities Through Dedicated R&D
HR Tech Company Human Consulting Group (HCG) announced on the 15th that it has established the ‘AI×HR R&D Center’ as its corporate research institute.

This new research institute is HCG’s third corporate R&D center, following the hunel R&D Center and the talenx R&D Center. With this, HCG plans to further accelerate its R&D-driven growth strategy.
A corporate research institute is an independent research organization dedicated to the development of new technologies and products. Once officially certified by the government, such institutes become eligible for various policy benefits, including tax incentives and support for research personnel. Through the establishment of the AI×HR R&D Center, HCG aims to further strengthen its technological competitiveness in AI-based HR solutions.
In particular, HCG plans to accelerate the development of AI agent services specialized in the HR field, with the AI×HR R&D Center at its core.
The HR domain involves handling sensitive data such as payroll and personal information, which has made it difficult to adopt general-purpose generative AI. To overcome these limitations, HCG is focusing on developing AI technologies that are tailored to HR operations, with an emphasis on security and reliability.
The AI×HR R&D Center will focus on a wide range of research initiatives aimed at transforming HR operations. These include developing AI models based on HR data, creating solutions for process automation and optimization, and advancing AI-driven HR strategy planning and trend analysis.
Through these efforts, HCG aims to drive innovation in key HR processes such as Time & Attendance, Performance, Appraisal, and Payroll & Compensation. The center will also explore the use of technologies such as Robotic Process Automation (RPA) to enhance the efficiency of HR operations.
